By accessing or using Dummy Reader ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Dummy Reader is a web-based tool that transforms text documents (EPUB, TXT) into audiobooks using AI-powered text transformation and text-to-speech synthesis.

Your Responsibilities

When using Dummy Reader, you agree to:

• Only upload content you have rights to — You must own the content or have permission to use it. This includes public domain works, content you've created, or content where you've obtained appropriate licenses.
• Use the Service lawfully — You will not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Not abuse the Service — You will not attempt to overload, hack, or otherwise interfere with the Service's operation.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your content. We do not claim ownership of any documents you upload or audiobooks you create.

Your documents are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers. The transformed text and generated audio are stored locally on your device and belong entirely to you.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Dummy Reader to:

• Process copyrighted content without authorization
• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful
• Attempt to circumvent any technical limitations or security measures
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
• Use automated scripts to abuse API rate limits

Pricing & Payments

Dummy Reader pricing consists of:

• Platform fee — A monthly subscription for access to the Service
• TTS costs — Text-to-speech synthesis costs passed through at cost with no markup

Pricing is subject to change. We will provide notice of any price changes before they take effect.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Text transformations will be perfectly accurate
• Audio quality will meet all expectations
• The Service will be available at all times

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dummy Reader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to your data
• Errors or inaccuracies in text transformations
• Any third-party conduct on the Service
