No. Your documents are processed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Files never leave your device. Transformed text and audio are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB.

Your work is saved in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). When you return, your books, transformations, and audio files will still be there—unless you clear your browser data.

There's a monthly platform fee for access to the service. Text-to-speech costs are passed through at cost with zero markup—you pay exactly what we pay to the TTS provider.

You should only upload content you have the rights to use. This includes open access research papers, legal documents you're party to, your own writing, or any content where you have appropriate access rights.

AI text transformation requires sending text to language models. Each chapter is processed individually. Longer chapters may take more time. The process includes built-in retry logic if a model times out.
